He and I in the World Ocean

We had our own air,
and we breathed it together.

Waves slowly rolling,
sunlight falling on them under travelling wind.
A high moment.

When I am spent, I tell the bird, Rukh, inside of me
to raise her wings,
and she does.

A man with a petty, dirty little soul,
and brown, beautiful cows.
A morning procession.
